MUBA premieres Helen Veidebaum´s ballet "Torm" ("Storm")

Music by Antonio Vivaldi and Max Richter
Choreographer- stage director Helen Veidebaum

The performance "The Storm" is a deep homage to the great master of the Baroque era, Antonio Vivaldi, where you can hear and see his work both in the well-known classical form and in a modern interpretation. The MUBA chamber ensemble, the guitar orchestra and young talents from the ballet field will perform on the common stage.

"Storm" is inspired by the forces of nature and the processes accompanying the change of seasons. Just as in nature, we also find recurring patterns in human relationships — ebb and flow, calm and storm. This show is a call to live in harmony with nature and respect the balance and needs of this wonderful system.

Choreographer-director Helen Veidebaum about the performance "The Storm":
"I have always had a deep respect and even awe for nature. The behavior of nature, animals and birds inspires me to create my own movement language and choreography. "When I first heard Max Richter's interpretation of Vivaldi's Seasons, I had an irresistible urge to express all these sounds through movement," shares Veidebaum.

Ballet, classical and rhythm music meet on stage. STORMOUS synergy awaits!
