Nominees for the annual Estonian Theatre Awards have been announced

The nominees for the annual Estonian Theatre Awards have been announced. The nominees are recognised for the creations in 2020 or for outstanding work during a longer period of time. The awards will be rewarded on the International Theatre Day, March 27th via a special TV broadcast (ETV 27.03. at 21:35).

The ballet award nominees are:
Teet Kask –  choreographer-director for the ballet „Golden Temple“ (Birdname).
Marina Kesler – choreographer-director for the ballet „Anna Karenina“ (Estonian National Ballet).
Ketlin Oja – Alice in „Alice in Wonderland“, Giselle in „Giselle“ and soloist in „Tchaikovsky's masterpieces: Serenade and 6th Symphony“ (all Estonian National Ballet).
Cristiano Principato – Vronsky in „Anna Karenina“, Jack of Hearts in „Alice in Wonderland“, Nutcracker-prince in „Nutcracker“ and soloist in „Tchaikovsky's masterpieces: Serenade“ (all Estonian National Ballet).
Anna Roberta – Anna Karenina in „Anna Karenina“, Odette/Ottilie in „Swan Lake“ and soloist in „Tchaikovsky's masterpieces: Serenade“ (all Estonian National Ballet).

Jury: Enn Suve (chairman), Tiit Härm, Kaja Kreitzberg, Dagmar Rang-Saal ja Tatjana Voronina.

For the children theatre award named after Salme Reek among other nominees there is:
Mare Tommingas – for choreographical and directoral work in children's ballet „Tilda and the Dust Angel“ (Theatre Vanemuine).

Jury: Anneli Saro (chairman), Iir Hermeliin, Tambet Kaugema, Kairi Kruus ja Kirsten Simmo.
