Jevgeni Grib and Rufina Noor are the winners of annual theatre awards

On International Theatre's Day, March 27th annual Estonian theatre awards were announced in Rakvere theatre. Jevgeni Grib won the balletprize for his shortballet "Keep a light in the window" (Estonian National Ballet) and Rufina Noor was awarded with a prize named after Rahel Olbrei for her long-lasting and productive contribution to the Vanemuine ballet.
Grib has made history - no-one has ever recieved the balletprize for two years in a row and in different roles, in 2018 as a dancer (for the roles Alan ("A Streetcar Named Desire") and Hilarion ("Giselle") with Estonian National Ballet) and in 2019 as a choreographer.
Rufina Noor, former ballet-soloist with Vanemuine ballet, a long-term teacher and repetituer who has succesfully advanced the company's professional level turned 70 in the beginning of the year.
