VI Autumn Ballet Evening

The Autumn Ballet Evening is a ballet event dedicated to the time of the souls under the leadership of Rakvere Dance Theatre, which started in 2018, when it was held for the first time as a chamber concert in the large hall of the Rakvere Cultural Center. The aim is to introduce professional artists, ballet and contemporary dance in the city of Rakvere and Lääne-Virumaa. Several freelance artists, Tallinn Ballet School, Estonian National Ballet artists, Goltsman Ballett and Cerri Ballet Theater from Japan have taken part in the ballet evening. Since 2019, the Autumn Ballet Evening has been part of the Rakvere Culture Festival. The artistic director of the ballet evening is Mehis Saaber.

At this year's VI Autumn Ballet Evening, versatile professional dancers such as Anita Kurõljova, Maria Zujeva, Greetel Joanna Võrk and others, as well as MUBA ballet students, will take the stage. Kaito Kurokawa (Japan) and Pinja Sinisalo (Finland) will take the stage as special guests.
In the second act of the ballet evening, Rakvere Dance Theater's new production "Past the Mirror" (choreographer Karina Laura Leškin), which is a joint work of the artists of the dance theater and the Estonian National Ballet, will be on stage.
On stage: Liisa Tee, Arina Kotova, Sofia Kirs, RIchard Beljohin, Alexei Zotovich, Mehis Saaber and Estonian National Ballet artists Jamie Bögemann and Liam Strickland.
